HOW IT STARTED
Meet MALIA
I'm Malia, the owner/maker at McSology. McSology began in 2009 as a collaboration between a textile product designer and a craft bartender. For over 10 years, I have made and perfected two items that are an essential part of the cocktail-making ritual: Lewis Bags and Mallets.
Our products are designed for those who value durable and functional American-made products by a small family business. Each Lewis Bag is sewn to the highest standard, is built to last, and is made in Seattle, Washington, USA.
MCSOLOGY MISSION
McSology products are available exclusively on this website and in our Etsy shop. McSology takes a firm stance against Amazon, where a number of sellers continue to sell knock-off versions of our products.
Many thanks for your support!
PRaise & Press
McSology started by word of mouth.
We are proud to have the support of many bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts! Our products can be found in bars and homes across the Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Africa.

You owe it to yourself to get one of these Lewis BagsIf you enjoy the act of making cocktails as much as you enjoy drinking them, you owe it to yourself to get one of these Lewis Bags and crush some ice by hand. And this bag is tough, I think I could crush rocks in it and not hurt the bag! Great quality material and construction, and very fast shipping. Is it 5 o'clock yet?- A | This Lewis Bag is great!I beat it to hell with a wooden mallet to crush the ice inside and it shows no signs whatsoever of wear and tear. What more could you ask for?- Jason | It's the bomb! Can't compare to other Lewis bags because this is my first, and durability-wise it will clearly also be my last. It's the bomb!- SG |

This bag is VERY well made...I had a hard time bringing myself to buy this because I live on a shoestring budget. After spending over an hour online trying to find another one that was double stitched (like this one is) I came up empty handed. All of the single stitched ones out there had reviews about the seam blowing out. This bag is VERY well made and you will have no worries about he seams. The only downside is that the canvas is of a good thick grade, so its pretty stiff and takes a little bit to break-in- Robert | Love this high quality Lewis bag!It is heavy duty and well designed. I used it while bartending a Derby Day party. I could crush a lot of ice for the mint juleps. The loop is great for hanging to dry. Thank you!- Susanna | Want to Make Better Cocktails? Great quality product.I chose this as other products I found online from other retailers were not as large (even for home use) or as robustly constructed. I'm glad I made this purchase. - Adam W. | Must-Haves for Holding You and Your BelongingsBy Amanda Zurita | This was my third order of Lewis Bags. They are perfect hostess gifts for those that like to drink! - Marie R. |
